Mario E. Ramos is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a graduate of the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine-Boston’s Children’s Hospital, where he received his Pediatric Dental specialty training. He is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine for the past 21 years. Dr. Ramos provides Pediatric Dental care for infants, children, adolescents and children with special needs.
He is a past Board of Trustee member and Chairman of the Council on Continuing Education for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a past member and consultant for the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition for the American Dental Association. He is past president of the National Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Ramos is the founder of the “Smiles with Pride” project which provided dental care for homeless children living in shelters in Newark, NJ.
Dr. Ramos is a volunteer dentist at the Boys and Girls Club of Newark, Eva’s Village and Oasis in Paterson, NJ. Dr. Ramos has lectured on a variety of Pediatric Dental topics both nationally and internationally.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Bergen County Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Ramos has been chosen by his peers every year as a Top Dentist in Pediatric Dentistry in New Jersey Monthly magazine. He is a lifelong resident of New Jersey, fluent in Spanish and enjoys spending time with his four boys.
